Today is Zachary's Ugly Bug Ball at school. We were given the homework assignment to create an Ugly Bug using materials from home. Together at school, the kids will watch a Disney movie with the song "The Ugly Bug Ball" as one of the segments. The song is an old Burl Ives song. After they watch the movie, the children will dance with their bug. Zachary was so excited this morning to take his bug to school -- Thanks Mimi for some of the supplies!
Zachary was so excited to having glasses matching his Ugly Bug (I tried to get him to name his bug but no name was right). And he picked out a shirt this morning that had "bugs" on it (little green grasshoppers!).
I can not wait to pick him up to see how his party was today!
