Today, we spent our first full day out on the lake on our new boat. We rode around, tubed for hours, had a picnic on an island, found a waterfall and took the boys to see the Dam between Lakes Keowee and Jocassee. We all had a great time! And a day at the lake made the boys bedtime routine very quick! They were worn out!

Clemson vs Wofford Game!
Today was Military Appreciation Day at the Clemson vs Wofford Game and boy did we have fun. We got there early today so we had plenty of time to play! Our parking was in a great location on the inside of the practice football fields. Luckily, it is a small parking area and the boys have the entire practice field to run and play (as they do not allow parking on the actual field). We took a walk (a very long walk) to Bowman Field where the boys played on all different kind of military equipment...

Then we walked back and tailgated for lunch! The boys ran around and played football! Before the game started, we went and watched the parade that not only included the Clemson Band but also numerous military people.
After the parade, Will and I hiked back to our spot as we were headed home for naptime! David, his dad and Zachary headed into the game! They had a lot of fun but because of the heat and the attention span of a five-yr old, they left after the half-time show. It was a very fun day for us all!
Thanks Mariko & Jason for the giving us the tickets!!

First Soccer Game!
It is Soccer Time again! This Fall, we decided to switch and play with Seneca Recreation Dept and boy are we impressed! Real soccer fields and real practices! The kids got an entire uniform with socks, shorts and a jersey. Much more organized than where we played before! Zachary had his first game last night -- they lost, but played well!!
