Pigs In A Blanket

Lately, Zachary has become quite the picky eater...only wanting Nutrigrain bars, cereal, peanut butter and sweets. I found an easy recipe for Pigs in a Blanket that he can easily make. I lay out Pillsbury recipe creations dough and cut it into triangles. Zachary takes one triangle, covers it in shredded cheese and wraps 1/3 of a hotdog inside. He loves cooking and I think he really likes knowing he did the cooking! HE watches them in the oven until they are golden brown! We use this as an activity so we make plenty and freeze them. They freeze well and just have to be warmed for his meal! Enjoy!!

Zachary's First Deodorant!

Zachary mimics everything I do in my morning routine...drying hair, putting on deodorant & make-up. Today, I decided to get him is own deodorant that he can keep in his bathroom to use supervised. He loves it and says it smells good!

Day At The Dentist...

Today, Zachary went to the dentist to have three cavities filled. He did so great. We have prepared for days for this big event. We even planned Mom & Dad's dentist appointments today too. This morning, Zachary woke up and said..."Zachary, mommy & daddy go to the dentist. Will no dentist. No teeth." It was so cute. Zachary did wonderful, thanks to Dr. Muncy!

Just wanted to pass along this website...three moms show you how to cook for your family with little money and little time. We did the Chicken Tetrazzini with Fresh Veggies tonight and it was great!

3 Months Old!

It is hard to believe little William is already 3 months old today. Time goes by so fast. Here are his pictures for today...

Here are a few facial shots to show his adorable features. One difference between William and Zachary is that William is a thumb sucker! Zachary always wanted the pacifier. Regardless to what doctors may say, I would rather my child have a pacifier...at one year of age, you can throw it away (it is much harder to get a child to stop sucking their thumb).

Outdoor Pictures

Today was such a beautiful day! I decided to take advantage of the sunshine and take some pictures of the boys together outside...I can not believe how fast they both are growing...William is 3 months tomorrow and Zachary will be 3 years old in April!

Excellent Sleeper...

While Zachary was at a Valentine Party this morning, I was able to clean around the house. So what was William doing this morning...

William is such a wonderful sleeper. He sleeps with his mouth wide open and can sleep through any noises...even the vacuum cleaner! At times, I can even hear him snoring!

Caught In The Rain

I am trying to lose weight before our Bahamas Cruise so I have taken both kids on a walk every afternoon. Zachary has ridden his four-wheeler and I push William in his stroller. We have been walking down the far end of our street back into the woods so Zachary can play in the mud holes. But for those of you who do not know, that end of our street is a straight hill down! Easy to go down but a killer to get back up. David has yet to walk with us because he said he is afraid he will not be able to get back up!!

Well, Zachary loved the mud holes today until...it started raining!!.

Imagine me ...

trying to help Zachary ride his four wheeler up the hill (the wet tires keep slipping and he kept sliding backwards)

pushing William in his stroller (which was a stroller and carseat)

all while running and wiping the rain out of my face.

I am sure it was a sight to see for all the neighbors!

This mornings weather man said high 70 degrees and clear skies. What weather channel was I watching!!??

Zachary... The Very Helpful Big Brother!

This morning Zachary, William and I took a journey to Walmart. When we got home, William was hungry so I put a bottle in the warmer. The phone rang so I took the bottle out of the warmer without putting a nipple on it. I got off the phone and turned around to see....

Zachary had found the nipple, put it on correctly, got a birp cloth and was properly feeding William in his carseat! It was so cute. Zachary is such a big help with William. We all sat in the recliner and Zachary finished feeding (and burping!) William!

I had to take a picture. Of course, Zachary posed for the picture. As for William, he was very happy to have his Big Brother feed him. William smiles every time he sees Zachary.

Valentine's Treat Idea

If you need a neat snack idea...we made red heart shaped Jello Jigglers for Zachary's class. It was really easy & fun! His classmates loved them.

What You Need
2-1/2 cups boiling water (Do not add cold water.)
2 pkg. (8-serving size each) JELL-O Gelatin, any flavor

Make It
STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 3 min. until completely dissolved. Pour into 13x9-inch pan.

REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours or until firm.

DIP bottom of pan in warm water 15 sec. Cut into 24 decorative shapes using 2-inch cookie cutters, being careful to cut all the way through gelatin to bottom of pan. Lift JIGGLERS® from pan. Reserve scraps for snacking. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
