Ten Weeks Old!!

William has grown so much. Today we put him in his Baby Einstein and Bumbo Seat. He loved both of them and held his own head up for hours. He even reached out for the toys in front of him. Enjoy this weeks pictures...(our great camera is still without a battery but these turned out okay)

A few weeks ago (without David and I knowing), Zachary changed the message on our answering machine. How? We have no clue. We did not even know about it until several people told us. It is so funny when people call and we are home but do not answer the phone. Most people can be heard talking to Zachary but he is just rambling! Here it goes...

Fun in the Sun

Today was such a pretty day that I was able to take both boys outside for a change. Usually, Zachary and I go outside to play only while William is asleep since it has been too cold for him. Here are a few cute pictures of both boys. Zachary insisted on William swinging today with his sunglasses!

9 Weeks Old

Our camera battery is dead so we had to resort to our old digital camera so the pictures are not as great...but William is still adorable! He amazes us everyday!

Weekly Progress Report

Zachary has really blossomed since starting Preschool. And he has improved on his listening and following directions! We are very fortunate to have been able to enroll him in this particular program!

Doctors Visits

Today, we all had a busy morning. We started by taking Zachary to his second dentist appointment for a preventive care screen and cleaning. I am surprised to say, he is absolutely wonderful. He sat in the chair all by himself and followed every direction. I wish I had taken a camera because he looked like such a big kid. I took him not only for the preventive care but also because I was concerned about the darkness of one tooth...and of course, it was a cavity. Despite Zachary's love for brushing his teeth numerous times a day, he has three cavities that we will go back to have treated in February. Yuck! But with his great behavior, the dentist treated him to ice cream after his visit.

Next, we went to William's two month doctors appointment. William also did wonderful. Everything looks great and the doctor said that his cognitive and physical aspects were close to a four month old!! He could not believe William is sleeping at least eight hours every night. William received three vaccines in the leg and one orally by mouth - which he did great. Here were his statistics:

Height: 22.25 (20in at birth)
Weight: 11 lbs (6 lbs 6 ozs at birth)

Both are in the 35% which is great from him and means he is perfectly proportional! Our next appointment is in April which William and Zachary will both see the doctor!!

Lastly, we treated Zachary to McDonald's since he has such wonderful behavior! You never know with a two year old!
I am blessed to have two perfectly amazing little boys!

Back To Work...

So, Saturday was my first day back to work. I was actually excited and not worried at all about leaving the boys with Dad. Everyone asked, "was it hard to leave." Well...No. Saturday as I was getting ready to leave, Zachary was misbehaving and Will was screaming for food! My head felt like it could explode with all the noise. So, I was ready for a quite and peaceful drive to Greenville..followed by some adult conversations. Who cares that it was work, it was a peaceful break! And not a bad weekend at work! But boy, do I miss those two adorable boys!!

2 MONTHS OLD!

Another week has flown by and William is changing every day. Just look how adorable he is in today's weekly pictures! Next week, we go to his 2 month appointment and he receives vaccines!

Happy 32nd Birthday DAVID

Today was David's 32nd Birthday. He spent the day at work fighting crime. Zachary and I worked all day painting the kitchen to surprise him. We gave him a new Sandwich Grill and we will continue with our home renovations...granite countertops, new sinks, crown molding, breakfast nook lighting, under cabinet lighting, paint for downstairs, etc...Our house is a mess!! But no fees for labor...just US!

The Search for the Perfect Picture

Zachary and I have been trying to capture the "perfect picture" of William for Dad's Birthday...here is one picture Zachary and I loved! We have not had any "professional" pictures done because I am constantly learning how to take great photos!

7 WEEKS

Boy, how time flies. Will is seven weeks old today. He growing and filling out well. He is alert and awake during the day and sleeping 8-9 hrs each night. He smiles & coos and follows noises. He stretches his arms and reaches for toys hanging above him. I believe he recognizes our voices and faces. He responds well to Zachary and smiles when Zachary is talking to him. He still has the hairline of a Philpott! These pictures are from this morning before Zachary left for school...It is amazing to watch William grow!

School Progress...

Boys will be boys...I just got home from picking Zachary up and this is what he looked like...Just imagine what the other kid looked like...




Just kidding. Zachary fell and hit the table at school (so they say). His teachers said he had a great week and he did excellent on his report card. He followed directions and listened to his teachers. No hitting, biting, pushing, etc this week! Yeah!

Prince & Princess Party

Tonight, Zachary was treated to a Prince and Princess Party at Chick-fil-a (he favorite place) while William & Dad rested at home. We went with our good friends from across the street (Mariko & Haley). Haley was dressed as a beautiful Princess and Zachary enjoyed being her Prince. The kids made tierras & crowns and then we all enjoyed dinner. We are glad to have such good neighbors and we really enjoy our outings with Haley and her mom! Enjoy the pictures!

Picture Comparison

William looks so much like Zachary did as an infant. They even have some of the same characteristics. Both boys are about the same age in these pictures....I love how they sleep. People say, this is a sign of a sound sleeper (Will slept 9 hrs last night before I had to wake him up)!

6 WEEKS!

Today marks 6 weeks for Will. We have a routine and are doing well. I love that I can easily look back on the blog and see how much Will has changed. Here are two pictures from today...

Clemson Bowl Game...

Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that it is 2009!



Zachary, Will and I have had a wonderful first day of the New Year. This morning, we had Haley and her mom over for a play date and they brought Dunkin Donuts (we will start our diet tomorrow!). The kids had a lot of fun.

After our naps, Zachary rode his four wheeler outside while Will took another nap. Now, we are dressed in orange ready to watch the Clemson Tigers play in the bowl game. Yes, the game is probably over by now but we have taped the game to watch tonight with dad and some friends who had to work today. We are going to order pizza and enjoy the game. Hopefully, no one has told dad and his friends the result of the fame. Zachary and Will looked so cute in their orange outfits!
