Strawberry Farm

Today, I went with Zachary's class to the Strawberry Farm.  The kids had a blast and Zachary's new teachers are awesome.  He has made so many friends...

Zachary's First Dirt Bike Race

Zachary raced in his first dirt bike race today at Harris Bridge race track.  His race started at 8am so we had to leave by 6am.  What an early morning.

 And crossing the finish line.  Best of all he finished the race and came in 6th place.  Technically, there were 17 racers that he raced with but only 6 were in his division of Pee-Wee.  So he was last in his division but he did not care.  He had a wonderful time.

 The riders of the Pee Wee and Super Pee Wee divisions are each interviewed and given a plaque just like the superstars in the races on TV.  It was great...

Dirt Bike Days...

David and Zachary went to a dirt bike race today to prepare for Zach's first race next Sunday!

Zach's School Trip to Zoo

Today, I went with Zachary's class to the Greenville Zoo (yes, chaperoned two days in a row to the zoo). Zachary is fitting in well with his new friends...

Great Day!

Today was Zachary's first day in Mrs Pruitt's class. I have had issues with his previous teacher all year and finally spoke my peace - which resulted in changing classrooms! Yeah! I could not have been happier with our decision.

His new teachers are Mrs. Pruitt and Ms. Chatfield. Since Zachary's birthday was two days earlier, we took cupcakes for the entire class. I went in with him his first day because he was so scared and nervous. The classroom environment was totally different...it was an actual K5 class and not a dark dungeon! I could not be happier with our decision! YIPEE!

When Zachary came home today, he said..."mom, she is so nice. She does not yell and she does not make everyone do laps." I could have kicked myself for not speaking up sooner.

Best Buddy

Kayden is our next door neighbor and is Zachary's best friend. They play endlessly together and get along great. Tonight for Zach's Birthday we had Zach's choice... filet mignon, corn the cob and salad. After dinner, we invited Kayden over for Nutty Buddies! I love this picture of them together...

Happy 6th Birthday & Easter Sunday

Six years ago today, we were blessed with a little boy...Zachary Andrew Philpott! It is so hard to believe that he is already SIX years old!...

The Easter baskets...

Zachary opening his presents...This year, Zachary got a new orange KTM 50 dirt bike (that we had hidden but he found) which he enjoyed at DurhamTown last week. This morning he got a few other things...a new helmet, new dirt bike outfit, magnetic words and walkie talkies! He was so excited. The Easter Bunny even left him a new dirt bike shirt too!

Easter Egg Hunt in Clemson

We enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt & Celebration in Clemson today...

Will hunted with the 3-4 age group. Before the hunt, he was planning his strategy...

Zachary hunted with the 5-6 yr old age group. It was nice that the kiddos were divided up by ages...

One PROBLEM...The eggs had toys and candy in them. William had a pink easter stamp in one of the eggs he found. BUT he thought it was CHAPSTICK! So we wore pink paint on our face and lips the entire day since it would not come off! Gotta love him!

Zachary's 6th Birthday PARTY

We had several of Zachary's friends over for a Bounce House Birthday Party! We rented a bounce house and the kids had a great time. We had a children's party in the afternoon and had family over that evening for a cookout!
