Thanksgiving Day

We spent Thanksgiving at my step-sister Lacey's house, along with about 25 other family members. We had a wonderful time visiting and filling up with good food. As ever year, we fried two turkeys for Thanksgiving...

THE WEIGH IN!

Every year, we all weigh in before the feast and after our feast. The adult who gains the most weight is awarded a trophy and the child who gains the most wins $5! Jarrod and his dad monitor all the weights and keep the records. So, here we go with the weigh in...

After eating we were all too tired to chase the kids on the street so we locked them in the garage with their bicycles! What a great idea!
And the winner of this years Tom Turkey Trophy....David! With a whopping six pound gain!! For the children, William was the big winner with a (holy cow) two pound gain! Go Philpotts!!
We have so much to be thankful for again this year including...our marriage, our super duper kids, our wonderful families, our family's health and our great jobs!!

Will had is two year well check today and everything looked great!! He has moved up to the 25% and is not so small anymore! YEAH

As a treat, the boys and I made a special trip to Build a Bear Workship in Haywood Mall. Zachary brought to life a dog named Charlie and Will brought to life a floppy eared rabbit named Fluffy. We had a great time!

Will Turns 2!

Two years ago today, we brought Will into this world and he has amazed up ever since! We love you William!!

Will's 2nd Birthday Party!

Today, we celebrated Will's 2nd Birthday with a family party at house house. Will had a lot of fun and received a bunch of wonderful gifts! Thanks to all our family for making this day special for Will!

DurhamTown Adventure

David, Zachary and I spent three nights in the wilderness at DurhamTown Plantation. It is the largest outdoor motosports park in the United States with over 6000 acres of fun! We packed up our dirt bikes and four wheelers and rented a RV for the weekend with some friends. We rode the trails ALL day and partied at night with cookouts, hayrides, smores and more. Zachary says he is ready for Santa to bring him his PeeWee 50!

And enjoyed eating them too...When we were not riding, Zachary was watching and learning...Dad leaving for the tracks...
Zachary and Parker (who also is asking for a Pee Wee 50 from Santa)...Yes, Mom finally got back on the four wheeler after nearing killing myself on it and spending several hours in Greenville Memorials Trauma ER. And I did great!
This little boy Ryan (4 yrs old) lives with his family in the RV park. Surprisingly, his mother just lets him roam so he played with Zachary one afternoon. I can not imagine letting Zachary roam among a bunch of campers and hunters.
