Christmas with Our Families

Today, we celebrated Christmas with both of our parents (since we were sick Christmas Day). The boys enjoyed all their new gifts. Zachary got legos, pirate ship with pirates, planet mobile and baseball set, movies and a collector coin. William got Leapster Explorer & games, Alphie, Hot Wheels truck and a collector coin. Thanks to all the wonderful grandparents for the great gifts! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Morning...

Well, this was a Christmas we will never forget.

David came down with a terrible bug on Christmas Eve that left him ill all day Christmas Day. I stayed up almost all night helping him, preparing for Christmas Day and obsessively cleaning so the boys and I would not get sick. Cleaning did not help, I was struck down with the same bug the day after Christmas. But overall, the boys had a wonderful Christmas and were blessed with many wonderful things. Most of all, they finally understand the true meaning of Christmas!

Christmas Parade and Santa Surprise

The boys and I decided to go out on the town tonight since David was out in the woods hunting. We started the night with the boys favorite dinner spot...Chick-fil-a! Tonight, Santa was supposed to be there...but instead of waiting in the long line to see him, Santa greeted us in the parking lot. Just happened his sleigh pulled up right beside us and we were able to seek a picture!

After dinner, we bundled up in blankets and went to Westminister for the Christmas Parade! The boys love this parade because of the number of tractors and horses!! Not only were we able to see a great parade but we also were very close to a passing train! The boys were in such amazement!
