Trick or Treat 2011!

Halloween night...I accompanied Buzz Lightyear and Spiderman to a night in downtown Clemson. Each store stands outside for the kids to trick-or-treat...just like it is house to house but it is store to store. And so many things for the kids to do and even a hotdog supper!

Every moment Will had...he was shoveling chocolate in his mouth...the whole thing...

Every bench we passed...Zachary wanted to stop for a treat...

We met up with our great neighbors...Mariko, Jason, Haley & Hunter...

And within minutes...

SPIDERMAN on a sugar high had a really quick crash...

Visit with Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Teri

Thursay afternoon, I was sitting at a stop light. It turned green and an 87 yr old woman pulled right out in front of me from a restaurant parking lot. None of the three 80 yr old women in the van had on their seat beats. The driver had a head injury and the lady in the back was thrown into the floorboard. They were all sent to the ER and released. I just am sore and have some bruising. Luckily, we will all be okay!

Trinity Fall Fun Day

We had another wonderful Fall Fun Day at Trinity today! There were so many fun activities for the kiddos...carnival games, popcorn, inflatables, painting, bean bag toss and more! The kids always have a great time!

A Visit to Carly's Farm...

The boys visited a friend of mine's farm today...

Her dog had recently given birth to puppies...

We fed the cows and walked the cow path through the woods...

The boys got down and dirty...

They also gathered all the fresh eggs from the chickens...

Apple Orchard

Since the kids are out of school today and David is in the woods Deer hunting, the boys and I headed up the mountain to Bryson's Apple Orchard. Unfortunately, the weather has not helped the crops and most the apples were on the ground. They told us there were none to pick. What!? The boys said they wanted to go look anyway and took pickers to reach the apples. So, off we went to find apples that were not there! It was like an "I Spy" game. And, guess what, we filled an entire bucket!

And, as always, William chased the poor roosters and chickens!

Last Day at the Lake!

Foothills Heritage Play

Tonight, we went to the Foothills Heritage Fair in Fair Play! The boys had such a wonderful time...met a clown, watched a magic show, saw animals (bulls, goats, pigs, baby pigs, cows, horses, chickens, ducks, alpacas, llamas), drove a tractor, watched a tractor parade, rode a pretty fast Dragon Train, rode on a carousel, played games, ate hotdogs & funnel cakes and played on hay bales...
