Several St Francis employees and I spent a week in the Dominican Republic hosting medical clinics. What a great experience. What an eye opener! Many of these people are so poor yet so happy! Happy because they know what is important in life...God and Family!
We flew out of Charlotte at 5am! The land over the Dominican Republic looked so much different than the states...lots of green land and mountains! Very beautiful!
Our mission trip was organized by New Missions.

We arrived to our hotel about 3pm. We stayed at Sosua by the Sea. A very nice all inclusive resort. Very safe for us! The afternoon was spent unloading and organizing supplies. Considering most of us had been up 24 hours, we went to be very early!
Everyday was beautiful sun rises and sun sets!
