Trailblazer Update!
Since July 19, we have been out of our Trailblazer and into a little Kia (which we both hate)! Yesterday, we got the call that the Trailblazer was finally ready...after almost 6 long weeks...so we rushed to the dealership in Greenville! David and I were both disappointed with the work on our car. Granted, the car will never be the same but I want it to look like it did before the Dodge Ram hit us. You can tell the work was from a dealership and not from the factory. The worst part is that we believe someone drove the car while it sat in a salvage lot for a week in Columbia! We saw the car the day it was towed to Greenville and were appalled that someone had been using our car (which of course, we can not prove). Both front seats were covered with red mud, dried oil and wet grease. Not only was it on the leather seats but also the front doors and carpet for both the driver and passenger sides! The insurance company agreed to detail the car before calling to tell us it was ready for pickup. Yesterday, there was still dried mud and grease all over both leather seats. It is the first thing you notice getting in the car -- it looks horrible! We are supposed to go back next Thursday to re-evaluate our car. If it is not looking new, I am insisting on new leather seats!
