DurhamTown Adventure

This week, we took the boys to DurhamTown again and had several friends join us. The boys would much rather ride dirt bikes, cook marshmallows on a campfire and get very muddy than spend time at the beach in the extreme heat. They are definitely David's boys as David would rather be in the mountains on an outdoor adventure too! As a mom of two boys, I find happiness in doing whatever brings a smile to their adorable little faces!!

Zachary and David each rode their dirt bikes while Will and I rode the four wheeler together. Around the cabin area, Will rode the PowerWheels four wheeler...

The first thing Zachary wanted to do was....RACE DAD on the drag strip. He has talked about it for weeks! And boy is he fast! That is David on the left and Zachary on the right...

Zachary also loved riding the Pee Wee track with jumps. I wish I had my camera on this other track which had hills like mountains but nothing held Zachary back...he did it all with a smile.

William, on the other hand, is just as smart and excited as Zachary. William was responsible for starting the four wheeler and loved it. One afternoon, we went to the shop where they sell stuff. I turned around and William was on a little bike saying "mine, mine." I think we might have another one with the interest in dirt bikes....

David has "talks" with Zachary before riding to review everything and Zachary listens great. Just like a man, he listens when it is something that interests him...

Parker joined us...Parker just got a PW 50 too...it even has training wheels (I do not think he will have those for long)!

Tres & Drew also joined us...

The boys after an interesting ride where David and Tommy (Tres & Drew's Dad) were intentionally trying to splash in every mud puddle to get us all muddy. Best part was... David thought Tommy was directly behind him so he hit a mud puddle and splashed a trail of wet mud behind him...only it was not Tommy behind him...it was his wife Kristy! Don't worry, Tommy got me several times too! Turned out to be a big game of hit the mud puddles!!

Never fails at DurhamTown...you get very, very dirty!! That would be why there are no pictures of the women on the trip!
